CromMarine® premium-quality cylinder head bolt set for Volvo Penta marine diesel:

The CromMarine® cylinder head bolts with reference 970888 should be replaced when needed[1], and tightening should be performed in two stages, using a diagonal pattern. The bolts must be coated with molybdenum disulfide.

Tightening torque settings:

• 20 Nm 14.7 lbf. ft
• 70 Nm 51.6 lbf. ft

[1] The cylinder head bolts should be replaced when there are signs of elongation, or cannot be specified if it is already elongated, by checking the "waist" of the bolt.
